Bagerhat, Mar 28 (UNB)- Armed terrorists looted 76 arms from police and Ansar members of six districts in Khulna division during last six years.
Only seven of the looted arms were recovered during the period while the rest could not be recovered yet.
Police suspect the activists of outlawed parties are involved in the looting of arms.
Meanwhile, security measures have been tightened in the police stations and outposts in the Sundarbans area after the terrorists looted four arms and over 100 rounds of ammunition from patrol police in Satkhira recently.
