May 10 (UNB)- A mother and her daughter were stabbed mercilessly at
village Noapara in Sadar upazila by their opponents on Saturday.
Witnesses
said Siddiq Sheikh and his accomplice Afsar of the village raided the
house of their co-villager Jamal Sikdar at 12 noon on the day as a
sequel to purchase of a disputed land by them and stabbed Jamal’s
wife Ayesha Begum, 60, and her daughter Mataz Begum, 32. Jamal was out
of his house.
Both
the injured were rushed to the Sadar Hospital. A case was filed.
