           Bagerhat,
          May 20 (UNB) - Implementation work of 13 development projects at a
          cost of Tk 24 lakh is progressing fast in nine upazilas of the
          district. 
           
          
           
          The
          District Council is financing the projects from its own resources
          under a Rural Development Programme undertaken for the current fiscal
          year. 
           
          
           
          The
          projects include construction and repair of rural roads and low-cost
          bridges and renovation of some union parishad offices. 
           
          
           
          Sources
          said about 60 percent work on the projects has already been completed
          and the rest is expected to be finished by June next. 
           
          
           
          The
          district council earlier implemented four development projects under
          current the ADP in Kachua upazila at a cost of Tk 1.85 lakh.
