June 14 (UNB) – Bangladesh Krishi Bank has disbursed Tk 17.43 crore
loan among the 10,308 farmers in the district in the current fiscal
year.
The
loan was disbursed among the farmers through the 19 branches of BKB.
Official
sources said the bank would disburse more Tk 5.30 crore loan in the
current month among the farmers. The loans would be utilized in
purchasing agriculture inputs and meet up other necessary expenses to
boost production.
The
bank also realised Tk 21.24 crore outstanding loan from the farmers
during the fiscal year, the sources added.
