June 19 (UNB) – Four alleged pirates were caught red-handed from a
Dhaka-bound steamer near Morolganj ghat on Saturday.
The
arrested were identified as Rahim Sardar, 30, Sheikh Afsar, 38,
Siddique, 35, and Mizan, 24.
Police
said the four disguised as travelers boarded the steamer, Ostrich, and
swooped on its passengers in a bid to loot their valuables.
But
police nabbed them when the passengers cried out for help.
