Bagerhat,
June 20 (UNB) – Police arrested a leader of BNP-backed Chhatra Dal
from Soroi area in the town on Monday night.
Police
said Iyub Ali Mollah, former Joint Convener of District unit JCD, was
a warrantee of four cases.
He
was sent to Jail after the Magistrate Court rejected his bail petition
today.
Meanwhile,
District Unit JCD brought out several processions in the town
demanding release of their leader.
