Apr 11 (UNB)- PCJSS and 12 other organizations today urged the
opposition to relax CHT from April 13 hartal in view of an annual
tribal festival.
In a statement, they said all preparations
had been completed for the three-day festival, Baishabi, beginning
April 13 and called for withdrawing the hartal from CHT in order to
“maintain communal harmony.
Besides Parbatta Chattagram Jano Janghati
Samity (PCJSS), the organizations include Pahari Chhatra Parishad
(PCP), Hill Women’s Federation, Pahari Gano Parishad, Parbatta
Chattagram Mohila Samity, Tripura Kalyan Sangsad and Marma Buddha
Welfare Association.
