Barguna,
Apr 18 (UNB) – Bangladesh Krishi Bank has taken up a program to
disburse farm loan totaling Tk 22.24 crore in the district this
fiscal.
Under
the program, the bank has already disbursed Tk 17.75 crore among
15,200 farmers in five thanas for buying bullocks and agricultural
machinery, and undertaking small but income-generating projects.
Meanwhile,
the Bank has realized outstanding loan amounting to Tk 17.31 crore
from 14,200 farmers of the district.
