May 11 (UNB) – A 3-hour work stoppage by 25 physicians and 76
employees at Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Muhammad Ali
Hospital, demanding that their jobs be brought under revenue, entered
into 6th day today (Thursday).
Their
demands also include immediate payment of their backlog salaries.
Medical
services at the hospital are seriously being hampered due to the work
abstention programme, witnesses said.
