Bogra
(UNB) – T&T Board earned a total of Tk 10 crore in revenue from
the district in last 11 months till May of the current fiscal.
Official
sources said the Board had set a target to earn Tk 11 crore in revenue
in the current fiscal.
Of
the realised amount, they said, unpaid bills accounted for Tk 8 crore.
There
are some 4,500 analogue and 2,000 digital telephones in the district
apart from 300 disconnected ones.
The
telephone of Bogra Azizul Huq College is among the disconnected lines,
It was cut off one year ago for nonpayment of Tk 14 lakh.
