Chapainawabganj,
July 23 (UNB) – The Revenue Department realized over Tk 3.15 crore
as land development tax here in the fiscal 1999-2000, which is 13
percent higher than the previous year.
Official
sources said out of the target of over Tk
3.75 crore the department realized 92 percent tax during the year
against the 79 percent in the previous year.
Some
7,186 certificate cases were filed in the last fiscal year of which
3,248 were settled, the sources added.
