Chuadanga,
Apr 22 (UNB)- A mother and her minor daughter were killed in a road
mishap at Dingedaha bazar in Sadar thana this morning.
Police
and witnesses said Arecha Begum, 25, and her daughter Bithi, 8, of
Fulbari village were run over by a speeding truck while they were
crossing the road at 10 am.
The
local angry people damaged the truck. Police arrested the truck driver
Jahidur Rahman.A case was filed.
Another
report adds: Police today arrested four accused on charge of looting
and damaging a shop in broad day light on April 4 at Dasmile bazar in
Sadar thana.
The
accused Halim and Musa, sons of Ibrahim Sheikh, Dabir, son of SM Nayeb
and Bakul, son of Shiku Sheikh of Dashami village were arrested
following a case filed by the shopkeeper.
