Comilla,
Apr 23 (UNB) – The proposed Comilla University for Science and
Technology (CUST) will be set up in Shalban Bihar area of the
district.
The
decision was taken at a meeting of the site selection committee for
CUST at the DC office recently.
Chaired
by UGC Chairman Kazi Shamsul Alam, the meeting was attended by
Education Secretary, UGC Secretary, VCs of Chittagong University,
National University, DCs of Comilla, Brahmanbaria and acting DC of
Chandpur, and officials concerned.
The
committee members earlier visited the proposed university site.
