May 14 (UNB) – Police arrested 243 people and recovered huge drugs
and firearms from different parts of the district during the month of
April.
According
to police, they seized two revolvers, one light-gun, a knife and two
other sharp weapons apart from 938 bottles of phensidyl, 457 bottles
of liquor, 390 grams of ganja and five grams of heroin, during the
period.
The
arrested were sent to jail, they said.
