May 21 (UNB) – BDR seized 13,250 kgs of sugar smuggled from India
from Amandanga in frontier Chouddagram thana on Friday.
Officials
said the BDR men seized 265 bags of sugar worth about Tk 4 lakh from
23 rickshaw-vans. But there was no arrest.
The
haul was deposited with the customs office. A case was filed.
