Comilla,
May 30 (UNB) – M Golam Zilani, chairman of Bijoypur union in Sadar
upazila, was adjudged best UP chairman for the year 1998-99.
He
will receive ‘Local Government Prize’ for playing an important
role in overall development of his union.
Zilani,
elected chairman of the union twice, is also the president of
Bangladesh UP Chairmen Association, Comilla.
