Comilla,
July 11 (UNB) – Police
seized a truckload of Indian sugar at Daudkandi Toll Plaza on
Dhaka-Chittagong highway early Monday.
They
also arrested three people, including driver Manjur Alam and his
helper Abdul Quader, in this connection.
Acting
on a tip-off, police from Daudkandi thana halted the Dhaka-bound truck
from Feni and recovered the sugar worth about Tk 1.13 lakh.
A
case was filed.
