Bazar, May 16 (UNB) – Detective police today seized 1.5 kg heroin
worth about Tk 1.5 crore and arrested a man in this connection from a
local residential hotel.
Acting
on a tip, a DB team raided at room no 22 of Hotel Balaka and recovered
two packets of heroin, one contains 1 kg and another 500 grams.
They
arrested one of the boarders Mohammad Harun, 25, of village Gazirchar
in Savar thana. Another boarder Aby Tayeb of the same address,
however, managed to flee.
