Bazar, June 6 (UNB) – Road pirates looted valuables worth about Tk
one lakh from four vehicles on Eidgao-Eidgar road at Himchhari Sunday
night.
Witnesses
said the robbers intercepted two jeeps and two auto-rickshaws and took
away valuables from the passengers, leaving 12 of them injured.
The
bandits also picked a girl from a jeep and gang raped her in a nearby
hill. Local people later rescued the victim.
Two
of the injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in
critical condition.
A
case was filed.
