Apr 10 (UNB) –The Executive Director of International Institute for
Cooperative Studies (IICS) of the USA Dr Daryl McCarthy and European
Director Dr Bill Weldon called on Vice Chancellor of AK Azad Chowdhury
of Dhaka University here today (Monday).
During
the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest particularly the
academic activities of Dhaka University, said a press release.
They
also discussed about the possible collaborative programmes between
Dhaka University and the Institute.
Prof
AK Azad Chowdhury thanked the foreign guests for their visit to and
interest in the academic activities of Dhaka University. The Vice
Chancellor presented them a crest of Dhaka University.
Chairperson
of the Dhaka University Chemistry Department Prof Rowshan Jahan Mannan
and Associate Prof of the Chemistry Department of Moorhead State
University, Minnesota Dr Gary M Edvenson were present on the occasion.
