Feni, Mar 20 (UNB) – Joynal Hazari, MP of the ruling party, had separate meetings with leaders of union and ward committees of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League at Vendu Hazari Gymnasium in the town in preparation of the ensuing parliamentary election.
More than 400 delegates from all over the district took part in the deliberations held on March 17-19.
Meeting sources said each union and ward committee of Awami League and its front organisations was given Tk 10,000 for wall writings as part of campaign for Hazari. BCL was entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the wall writings until the election.
Residents of the town said his campaigners have already started erasing wall writings of others and rewriting there the name of Hazari and the boat symbol.
Members of the ‘class committee’ of Hazari were found on guard so that others cannot erase those.
