           Gazipur,
          May 15 (UNB) – The government has sanctioned Tk 1.14 crore for
          implementing a number of development projects in the district. 
           
          
           
          The
          project works include construction of educational institutions,
          culverts and community clinics, officials said.
          
           
           
          
           
          Under
          one of the projects, Facilities Department will renovate two schools
          in Maona and Sripur, Kewa Khadizatul Kubra Madrasa and Piar Ali Degree
          College in Sripur at a cost of Tk 95 lakh.
          
           
           
          
           
          Local
          Government and Engineering Department under another project will
          construct box culverts on Sripur-Ijjatpur and Kewa-Boherarchara roads
          costing Tk 15 lakh.
          
           
           
          
           
          Besides,
          the CMMU department of Health Ministry will set up two community
          clinics in Lohagach and Kewa areas at a cost of Tk 4 lakh.
          
           
           
          
           
          State
          Minister for Local Government and Cooperatives Mohammad Rahmat Ali
          laid the foundation stones of all the projects on Saturday.
