Gazipur,
May 2 (UNB) – Bangladesh Krishi Bank distributed loan amounting to
Tk 43 crore among villagers at Sripur upazila of the district.
The
borrowers have taken up small but income-generating projects, such as
poultry farm, with the bank money, officials said.
There
are at least 86 poultry farms in the district, producing 2,50,000 eggs
a day.
This
was disclosed at a rally of subscribers of the bank recently.
