Habiganj,
Apr 24 (UNB) – Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB) has
brought the district under its ISD facility.
Local
T&T officials said subscribers could now apply for ISD connection
through the Assistant Engineer after clearing their arrear bills, if
any.
Meanwhile,
two card phone booths in Sadar Post Office and Judge Court compound
have been given ISD connections. The ISD system was introduced in the
district on April 9.
Earlier,
a 1200-line digital exchange was inaugurated here on October 17, 1999.
