          Jessore,
          May 7 (UNB) – In a string of robberies, armed bandits looted
          valuables worth Tk 1 lakh from four houses in Keshabpur upazila
          leaving a man injured Wednesday night. 
           
          
           
          Villagers
          said a band of bandits broke into the house of Anath Das at
          Khatiakhali village and looted cash and valuables worth about Tk
          35,000. 
           
          
           
          The
          same group of robbers then stormed into the house of Jalil Biswas at
          Magurdanga village and took away cash and gold ornaments worth of Tk
          20,000 at gunpoint. 
           
          
           
          At
          village Bakaborshi, the robbers swooped on the house of Nizamuddin and
          stabbed him when he tried to resist them. 
           
          
           
          Another
          gang of looters, numbering about 10, broke into the house of Nitai
          Sarker in Keshabpur and looted cash and valuables worth about Tk
          40,000.
