July 6 (UNB)- Five alleged dacoits were caught red-handed by villagers
while they were fleeing with booty from Gopalpur village in Sadar
Upazila early Sunday.
On
hearing hue and cry, the villagers encircled the bandits and nabbed
them with a local revolver and valuables worth about Tk 16,700 at
about 4am.
The
dacoits -- Tajuddin, Selim alias Kalu, Saiful, Abdul Khaleque and
Milon -- were handed over to police after a mass beating.
