Apr 22 (UNB) – Police rescued a young housewife on Wednesday after
five months of her missing.
Police
said Rubi Akter (22), daughter of Ayub Ali of Rajapur, was allegedly
abducted by her brother-in-law Abdul Jalil (40) in absence of her
husband from Bhatkati village on November 23,1999.
After
filing a case, police arrested Abdul Jalil on April 15 from his
Phoolhar house and rescued Ruby according to his confessional
statement.
Ruby
was sent to the court.
