May 8 (UNB) – A madrasa student was slaughtered allegedly by an Imam
on Friday for disclosing his misdeeds.
The
victim was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 16, son of Shahjahan of
village Timirkathi in Nalchiti thana.
Police
said imam Delwar Hossain, 22, also a Fazil class student of a local
madrasa, killed Mizan for disclosing some information to its principal
that led to the expulsion of his associates.
However,
locals caught Delwar red-handed along with the knife with which he
killed Mizan and handed him over to police.
