Joypurhat,
June 27 (UNB) – Three women died in separate incidents in three
upazilas of the district on Saturday-Sunday.
Police
said Fahima Khatun, 24, wife of Aminur Rahman of Muhabbatpur village
in Khetlal upazila, who was admitted to Sadar Hospital with head
injuries, died on Sunday.
In
another incident, a young girl, Sadda Rani, daughter of Rhishikesh,
allegedly committed suicide by taking poison after a quarrel with her
parents at Iftahar village in Sadar upazila on Sunday.
At
village Deogram in Kalai upazila, Shamsun Nahar Begum, wife of Abdur
Rahman, allegedly committed suicide by taking poison following a
family feud on Saturday.
Separate
cases were filed.
