June 6 (UNB) – Villagers beat a young man to death at Deor village
in Sadar upazila over stealing banana on Sunday.
Police
said a group of people of Chit Haripur village called Mamunur
Rashid,22, out of his house and beat him mercilessly on charge of
stealing banana.
Mamunur
Rashid, son of Abu Tayeb, later succumbed to his injuries.
A
case was filed against 15 people and police arrested a man in this
connection.
