Apr 29 (UNB) – The District Council has undertaken a number of
projects to create employment opportunity in the district.
In
the first stage Tk 13 lakh was allotted for the purpose, said an
official.
The
projects include development of tribal handloom industry, setting up
of handloom centre and fish cultivation in the hillside lands, ponds
and canals.
The
council hoped that these projects would reduce unemployment problems
to a great extent increasing family income.
