Kishoreganj,
Apr 25 (UNB) – Works on 1,073 infrastructure development projects in
13 upazilas of the district are going on in full swing under general
and special test relief programs.
Officials
said the government had sanctioned 1,769 mts of wheat for implementing
the schemes in Astagram, Bajitpur, Bhairab, Hossainpur, Itna, Sadar,
Kuliarchar, Nikli, Pakundia, Tarail, Mitamoin, Katiadi, and Karimganj.
They
said 75 per cent works on the projects have already been completed
while the rest is likely to be finished by June next.
The
project works included construction and reconstruction of roads
culverts and playgrounds, re-excavation of derelict ponds, renovation
of educational institutions and government offices.
