Kishoreganj,
Apr 30 (UNB) – A court here awarded life term to two people in a
murder case recently.
According
to prosecution, Ataur and Shamim killed one Emdadul Huq Kabir, son of
Mofizuddin at Rathkhola in the town on February 11, 1994.
The
court handed down the verdict against the accused after
examining
the case records and witnesses. Three other accused were acquitted.
Additional
District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Razzak pronounced the verdict on
April 13. He also fined each of them Tk 10,000, in default, to suffer
two years more RI.
