Kishoreganj,
July 1 (UNB) – Production at Ashuganj Fertilizer Factory was
suspended for next 45 days from June 22 for overhauling works.
Factory
sources said the overhauling of the mills became essential as the
production was stopped for several times in the current fiscal due to
the mechanical faults.
Till
the suspension, the factory fulfilled its annual production target
producing 3.50 lakh metric tons of fertilizer.
The
sources said there is a sufficient stock of fertilizer in the factory
and its supply will be continued during the suspension period.
