Nov 16 (UNB) – Some 221 people were arrested on various charges from
10 upazilas of the district in 16 days since October 15.
Police
said 55 people were arrested from Sadar, 30 from Rajarhat, 32 from
Ulipur, 14 from Chilmari, four from Rajibpur, 24 from Roumari, 13 from
Bhurungamari, 38 from Nageshwari, nine from Foolbari and two from
Dushmari Jal upazilas.
