          Kushtia,
          May 31 (UNB) – Six unnatural deaths have been reported in the last
          10 days in the district. 
           
          
           
          Witnesses
          said, mutilated body of an unidentified woman was found floating in
          the river Gorai at Joyanabad village in Kumarkhali upazila on May 18. 
          
          Another
          body of a young man was recovered from the pond of Kushtia Government
          College on May 15. Later it was identified as Jabbarul Huq alias Rumon,
          son of Fazlul Huq of town. 
           
          
           
          A
          murder case was lodged and police arrested a man in this connection. 
           
          
           
          Another
          body of a five-year old girl, Shova,the daughter of late Sharfuddin of
          village Boaldaha in Hatas Haripur, was recovered from the river Gorai
          on May 21. She came to take bath in the river but remained missing. 
           
          
           
          Rubel
          8, son of Akram, drowned at a pond at Char Mill Para near the Kushtia
          railway station on May 21. 
          
          Meanwhile,
          two women allegedly committed suicide in two separate incidents in
          Sadar upazila on May 20. 
           
          
           
          Sufia
          Khatun, 60, wife of Shamsuddin of village Baradi, took her life by
          hanging while Shahida Akhtar, 21, daughter of Sanowar Hossain of
          Barokhada village by taking poison. 
          
          Financial
          hardship and family feud were stated to be the reasons behind the
          suicide. 
          
          Two
          separate cases were lodged with the police.
