Oct 14 (UNB) - Bangladesh Krishi Bank has undertaken a programme to
disburse Tk 16 crore as farm credit among the people of four upazilas
during the current fiscal.
The
financial assistance would be given for various self-employment
projects like cultivation of different crops, rearing of livestock and
poultry birds, pisciculture, cottage industry, poverty alleviation,
buying irrigation machine and conducting small trade.
BKB
disbursed loan amounting to over Tk 12 crore among the farmers last
fiscal and realised Tk 14.23 crore outstanding loan.
