June 27 (UNB) – Road pirates swooped on the passengers of a night
coach and looted their belongings worth about Tk 25,000 at Isakhada on
Dhaka-Khulna highway on Saturday.
Police
said the gunmen disguised as passengers boarded the bus from Khulna
and looted cash and valuables of the passengers at gunpoint, leaving
six people injured.
Police
arrested the checker of the coach, Sohel, in this connection.
