Manikganj,
May 24 (UNB) – Government under its rural infrastructure uplift
programme has allocated 1,162 metric tons of wheat for implementing
698 projects in the district during the current fiscal year.
Of
the projects, 103 will be implemented in Sadar, 147 in Harirampur, 138
in Singair, 110 in Daulatpur, 87 in Saturia, 101 in Ghior upazilas and
12 in Manikganj pourshava.
According
to official sources, the works include construction of roads and
embankments and earth filling which will be completed by June next.
