Moulvibazar,
Dec 6 (UNB)- Honours courses in seven subjects have been introduced at
the Moulvibazar Government College from the current 2000-01 academic
session.
College
authorities said the subjects in which the honours courses have been
opened are Bangla, English, Economics, Political Science, Physics,
Botany and Mathematics.
Honours
course in Accounting was also introduced in the last academic session.
Although
the departmental heads of the honours courses must have the status of
full-fledged professors, the post of the incumbent principal of the
government college, even after the introduction of the honours courses
has not yet been upgraded.
