Oct 5 (UNB) – Some 80 homeless families have been provided with
homes under the government-sponsored Asrayan Project at Bhasail
Chargolgalia in Sirajdi Khan upazila.
Industries
Minister Tofail Ahmed handed over the documents of the houses among
the poor families at a simple ceremony here Wednesday.
Army
personnel built the barrack-like asrayan centre on 10 acres of khas
land.
Steps
have also been taken up to provide them education and healthcare
facilities.
Deputy
Commissioner of the district said some 260 mts of wheat were spent for
earth filing of the asrayan centre.
