Narayanganj,
July 10 (UNB) – Police arrested a man and seized 12 tolas of gold
biscuits from Tanbazar area in the town on Saturday night.
Arrested
Fazlul Haq (30) of Naogaon village in Sadar upazila was suspected to
be a member of gold smuggling gang. A case was filed.
Another
report adds: Two people sustained bullet wounds during a gunfight
between two terrorist groups at Godnail in Siddhirganj upazila on
Saturday night.
Of
them, Roni (8) was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a
critical condition and Alamgir (22) at the Narayanganj 200-bed
Hospital.
