Narsingdi,
Apr 15 (UNB) - Two people were killed and 10 others injured in a
traffic mishap near Marjal bus stand in Raipura thana on Dhaka-Sylhet
highway today (Saturday).
Police
said the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus from Bhairab
dashed a roadside tree at 7.30 am.
Outraged
by the mishap, local people set ablaze the bus.
The
dead were identified as Dhirendra Ghosh, 70, and Mohammad Ali, 40.
Ghosh died on the spot.
Of
the injured, Julhash, Hanif, Himangsu, Hazrat Ali, Anukul and a child,
Alam, were admitted to Sadar Hospital and private clinics.
A
case was filed.
