Apr 17 (UNB) – A middle aged man was killed and 5 others were
injured when a cattle loaded truck skidded off the road and tumbled
down at Baroicha, Belabo, on Dhaka-Sylhet this (Monday) morning.
Police
said the mishap took place at 7 am when the truck driver tried to give
side to another vehicle.
The
dead, a trader, died on the spot, could not be identified immediately.
A cattle head also died in the accident.
The
injured persons were admitted to the thana health complex.
Driver
of the truck who escaped unhurt managed to flee the scene. A case was
filed with Belabo thana.
