Netrakona, Jan 19 (UNB) – Cattle lifting has marked a rise in the district as police failed to crack down on the organised gang of cattle lifters.
Worried farmers in remote villages were learnt to have been passing sleepless nights guarding their cowsheds.
Many farmers alleged that police in most cases refuse to take up cases when they go to them with such complaints.
