Bridge on Mohanganj-Madan road left unrepaired |

May 11, 2000 Netrokona, May 9 (UNB) – A bridge on Mohanganj-Madan road at Ramjibanpur has been left unrepaired for a long time, hampering the movement of vehicles as well as pedestrians. The bridge was constructed at Shahildao union in Mohanganj upazila in 1988 for improving communication system in the area. It is the only means of communication between Mohanganj and Madan upazila headquarters.
But the worst flooding in the same year washed away the roof of the bridge hampering the transportation.
Local people demanded of the authorities concerned to take up necessary steps for reconstruction of the bridge without further delay. |
