Three murderers convicted |

Netrakona, June 22 (UNB) – The District and Sessions Judge Court here sentenced three people to life term imprisonment in a murder case.
The court also fined the convicts Faraj Miah, Babar Ali and Nabab Miah with Tk 5,000 each, in default to suffer one-year rigorous imprisonment more.
According to the prosecution, the convicts killed one Lal Hussain following a dispute over fish hatchery at Golna in Mohonganj upazila in 1994.
After examining witnesses and case documents, the District and Sessions Judge AKM Istiaque Hussain pronounced the verdict on June 13.
The court, however, acquitted two other accused Nurul Islam and Alal Miah. |
