Noakhali,
May 23 (UNB) – Some 1,575 distressed women in Senbagh and Begumganj
upazilas are not getting their monthly government allowance despite
necessary instruction by the authorities.
Officials
said the women were supposed to receive the government allowance from
September 1999.
Two
lists of the women from the two upazials along with their bank
accounts were sent to Social Welfare office. But they have not yet
received any allowance for reasons unknown.
