July 4 (UNB) – Chatkhil Pourasava has announced a Tk 4.45 crore
budget for fiscal 2000-2001.
Pourasava
chairman Nasiruddin Bhuiyan announced the budget at its auditorium on
June 29 in presence of local elite, journalists and municipal
officials.
Another
report adds: Ramganj Pourasava in Laxmipur announced a Tk 5.08 crore
budget for fiscal 2000-2001 without imposing any new taxes.
Announcing
the budget on June 28, pourasava chairman MA Akbar said of the budget
Tk 4.41 crore would come from government grants while the rest from
the pourasava’s own resources.
