June 24 (UNB) – A clerk of an advocate was arrested from DC Court
building for giving false affidavit to two sex workers by forging
signature and seal of a first class magistrate.
Police
said clerk Altaf Hossain Hawlader forged the signature and seal to
give affidavit to the sex workers in absence of the magistrate Abdur
Rahman Bepari on June 8.
The
clerk was handed over to the police after the incident came to
limelight on Thursday.
